I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT 1597) and Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist (LCAS 20342). I am dedicated to seeing growth, improvement, and healing in my client’s lives. As an LFMT, I strive to help my clients identify the roles, rules, and boundaries that directly impact their mental health and relationships so that they can succeed within those systems. By blending a person-centered approach with other theoretical approaches, I seek to foster an authentic, non-judgmental, and collaborative therapeutic relationship to create positive and beneficial change for my clients. I have worked with individuals on a variety of issues, including depression, anxiety, personality disorders, relationship and family issues, parenting struggles, combat and non-combat related trauma, substance use issues, and behavioral issues with children. In addition, I have experience working with a diverse set of clients, including children, adults, military, families, and individuals, and am experienced in a variety of theoretical approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Processing Therapy, and Brief Solutions Focused Therapy.
Most people seek out therapy because something in their life isn’t where they want it to be. I believe that everyone (including me!) can be a better version of ourselves with hard work and introspection, and I look forward to working with you on your personal wellness journey.
